The galette des rois is an early standout at La Pensee, with one visitor calling it worthy of a specialist shop. They recalled pastry layers that were substantial yet light, and still crisp on the 3 day. Another diner praised the balance of sweetness in the chocolate version. For bread, the walnut anpan and burdock bread also left an impression.
